Top 5 interview tips

1Do your homework. Research the company and the position you are applying for. This will help you to know which of your skills, abilities and experiences to highlight during an interview.

2. Plan ahead. Plan your answers to the most common interview questions and even practice your responses.

3. Be prepared. Prepare a few examples of your work ethic and experience that you can talk about during an interview. It will calm your nerves knowing that you already have the answers they are looking for.

4Always ask questions at the end of an interview. Have at least three prepared in case some have already been addressed during the interview. Asking questions shows that you have been paying attention. It is a good way to show your interest in the company and learn more about it.

5Target your responses. Focus your responses and questions to only the company/organization you are interviewing for.

Note: (The entire interview should be focused only on the company/organization and your interest in it.)
